Welcome

Welcome to our school, where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to Be the Best They Can Be. Guided by our Busy Bee Code, we nurture a warm, caring and inclusive environment where children from all backgrounds feel safe, confident and ready to learn. We celebrate diversity, promote respect and inspire curiosity, enabling every child to grow, flourish and succeed both academically and socially.

Open Door Policy

We are proud of our open-door policy and the strong relationships we build with our families. We warmly welcome visits to our school, so please feel free to contact us to arrange an appointment and experience our wonderful learning environment. Parents and carers are always welcome to speak with staff before and after the school day. Together, we create a caring, supportive community where every child feels valued and is encouraged to thrive.

Lunch

Our lunches are freshly prepared on site and offer a varied, nutritious menu designed to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Options include vegetarian and halal choices, as well as jacket potatoes, hot meals and a fresh salad bar. We are committed to ensuring every child enjoys a balanced diet that supports their learning and wellbeing, with a fruit-based dessert available each day and a special treat to look forward to on Fridays.

Parents can conveniently select their child’s meal choices each day using Arbor.

Wrap Around Care

We offer a wide range of flexible wrap-around care to support busy families. Our school-led Breakfast Club, Busy Bees, and after-school club, Bumbles, provide a warm, familiar environment led by staff who know the children well, ensuring activities are tailored to their individual needs. Children enjoy games, outdoor play and a relaxed, picnic-style tea in a fun and supportive setting.

We also work in partnership with Jancett Playsafe, who are based on site and provide additional after-school and holiday provision, including a cooked meal and a variety of engaging activities.

Our extracurricular clubs are thoughtfully designed for younger children, offering a wide range of inclusive activities delivered both by our school team and trusted external providers. Reception children are invited to join clubs from the Spring term, allowing them time to settle confidently into school life first.
